Stamps
Prices are for stamps in good condition with a clear date stamp or instructional marking showing all or most of the date stamp or marking. Partial, hard to decipher, illegible or smudged date stamps will be worth considerably less. The same applies to good date stamps on stamps that are riddled with rust

Covers and Postcards
Postal history is harder to accurately price as factors such as the destination, the route, the postage rate at the time, other cancels and markings etc. need to be taken into account. Therefore prices on cover reflect only the scarcity on cover of the date stamp itself and do not take these other factors into account
