Byrnestown / Byrnestown Rail

Byrnestown post office, 24 km north east of Gayndah, opened in November 1903 and closed on 4 November 1911. Byrnestown Rail post office, 5 km from Byrnestown, opened in mid 1910 

The type 6 date stamp from the Byrnestown post office was transferred to the Byrnestown Rail post office after it closed in November 1911 and was then used in place of the existing Byrnestown Rail type 6 datestamp
