Cleveland

Cleveland post office, 24 km south east of the Brisbane GPO opened on 1 September 1861
  • Datestamp type 1b (29 June 1874 - 2 July 1906) rated 4R - $60 on cover
  • Datestamp type 3c (10 March 1900 - 2 January 1905) rated 5R - $100 on cover
  • Datestamp type 5b (24 September 1907 - 3 December 1912) rated 3R - $16, $50 on cover
Cleveland was not assigned a numeral canceller, instead a 'Q.L' obliterator in thick letters within an oval of 35 broken rays was used. Examples are shown below and have been seen dated from 29 June 1874 to 24 February 1902. Rated 4R
