Coomera

Coomera post office, 16 km north west of Southport. There were two separate post offices. The first one opened on 1 April 1869 and was renamed Coomera Upper in around 1890 to avoid confusion with the nearby Coomera Township post office, which opened on 18 September 1875 and had been renamed Coomera on 3 September 1889

Coomera post office used the Coomera (Chalon period) and Upper Coomera date stamps while the Coomera Township post office used the L. Coomera and Coomera (Sideface period) date stamps
