Dungeness

Dungeness post office, 24 km north east of Ingham, opened on 16 June 1883 and closed on 6 October 1896 when the Lucinda post office opened. However dates later than 1896 have been seen, suggesting that the date stamp continued to be used at Lucinda for several years afterwards
