Fassifern

Fassifern post office, 11 km west of Boonah, opened on 1 April 1867. It was reduced to a receiving office on 10 July 1897 and a new post office opened at nearby Engelsburg 

As a type 1b date stamp has been seen used after the post office closed, either it was used at Engelsburg until that post office got its own date stamp or else it continued to be used at Fassifern after it was reduced to a receiving office
