Fort Cooper

Fort Cooper post office, 11 km north west of Nebo, opened on 1 January 1863 and closed in late December 1863 when the post office relocated to Nebo. As this date stamp is seen used after this date and as the earliest Nebo date stamp seen is 1869, it would appear that the Fort Cooper date stamp continued to be used at Nebo for several years after the Fort Cooper post office was relocated there
