Hungerford

Hungerford post office, 165 km south west of Cunnamulla, opened on 15 June 1886. Although a Queensland post office it was actually situated on the NSW side of the border. Therefore all stamps, whether NSW or Queensland, were cancelled by the NSW Hungerford date stamp. The document at the bottom of the page provides additional information
