Hungerford post office, 165 km south west of Cunnamulla, opened on 15 June 1886

Hungerford numeral 365 HERE. Hungerford registered HERE

No examples yet seen by me. The extreme rarity of this date stamp is due to the location of Hungerford on the Queensland / NSW border. While separate post offices existed on either side of the border, all date stamps seen by me so far are NSW examples

Part of a cover with Queensland stamps cancelled with a Queensland 365 numeral canceler and a Hungerford NSW date stamp dated 11 February 1898. This example strongly suggests that a NSW Hungerford date stamp was used by the Queensland Hungerford post office
