Kings Creek

Kings Creek post office, 34 km north of Warwick, opened on 20 April 1869 as Clifton and was renamed Kings Creek on 24 July 1869. In late 1869 the post office name reverted back to Clifton but it appears the Kings Creek date stamp continued to be used for sometime afterwards. The earliest Clifton date stamp seen so far is 5 May 1873
