Theresa Creek post office, 22 km south of Clermont, opened in 1863 and closed on 31 December 1863 as it moved first to Coppermines on 1 January 1864 and then Clermont on 1 July 1864.
As the only date seen is March 1865, either the date stamp continued to be used at Clermont till around 1867, when the earliest Clermont date stamp is known, or else the closing date for Theresa Creek and the opening date for Clermont is incorrect. More dated examples need to be seen to resolve this
